Apply the oil to your skin and massage it in using long strokes. For a more enjoyable experience, massage from the heart outward rather than toward the heart. Alternate gentle stroking with firmer stroke movements and increased pressure to make sure any muscle tension gets loosened.

For an even better experience: warm up the massage oil in a hot water bath before you apply it to your body. Pour the oil you want to use into a small drinking glass and set it in a bowl with a bit of hot water for five minutes. Hot tap water at about 45 degrees Celsius is totally enough. This also releases some of the essential oils into the air, creating a wonderful atmosphere with the scent you’ve chosen.
