A-Punkt: Der zweite Lustschalter im Körper

A-spot: The second pleasure switch in the body

The A-spot—also known as the AFE (Anterior Fornix Erogenous Zone) —is located slightly deeper in the vagina than the G-spot. It was discovered and described in 2003 by Malaysian gynecologist Dr. Chua Chee Ann.

It is located in the anterior vaginal vault , approximately 10–13 cm deep , also near the abdominal wall . It can be reached by pressing across the anterior vaginal wall toward the cervix—halfway between the G-spot and the cervix.

The A-spot isn't a single spot, but rather an area about the size of a two-euro coin containing numerous nerve endings and glandular cells. Some experts suspect that stimulating this area can lead to particularly wet arousal —but this hasn't yet been conclusively proven scientifically.

Many women report that stimulation of the A-spot can trigger a particularly deep, intense and sometimes multiple feeling of pleasure – quite different from clitoral arousal.

How to find the A-spot – and what helps

The A-spot is located deep—about 10–13 cm inside the vagina—and is a very arousing zone for many women. Reaching it requires a bit of technique, the right toy, or the right position.

Here's how to find it:

  • Use a vibrator with a curved tip that points upwards towards the abdominal wall
  • Relax, insert it along the anterior vaginal wall
  • Use slow, gentle circular movements
  • Too difficult alone? Let your partner help with the middle finger and patience.

Positions for A-spot stimulation:

  • Doggy style: deep penetration with a slightly tilted pelvis (swayback)
  • Riding position: sit on your partner, leaning slightly backwards
  • Viennese Oyster: Place legs on your partner’s shoulders, tightly intertwined

💡 Important: Not every woman feels the A-spot the same way. Orgasms are possible, but not guaranteed – it depends on individual anatomy and preferences.
